Hi, authors! Exciting work! Can you please offer some scripts or method to download the youtube data? I tried to download but got rate limited by YouTube.

We downloaded the videos using cloud services rather than a lab desktop. Our lab desktop also gets rate limited. Since YouTube’s policies can change and we’re not entirely sure about the current details, please refer to the official Google YouTube API quota limits page for the most up-to-date information.

Hi, thanks for your anwsering. I tried to downloads a subset of the videos, maybe 300cases. However when i run [extract_scenes.py](url), I find that videos took by cameras were not extracted properly, and some of the videos were extracted to be totally black images. Is it a bug or something? Should i consider these data as dirty ones?

btw, will the black images and unproper data get annotated?

Why are there so many pure black images and non-mobile phone images in the data processed according to the process? @runamu

@SmileTAT It may be because the video downloaded from YouTube was not in the highest resolution, which did not match the resolution in the parquet file, causing the crop operation to go out of bounds.
