I see for _ in 0..2 syntax in the example given in Advanced generators with GeneratorState, but not in the section on Loops. I also see a while loop here, but I can't find them in the book, either[1].

I'm assuming the language is outpacing the book :).

Is there a relatively complete language spec / description for newbs somewhere?

I'm prototyping an app using Rhai and would like to see if Rune has more convenient tradeoffs for the kind of simple data structure and control flow logic I need. Thanks!

No. There's the book and test cases for now. The semantics of the language isn't entirely fixed either. I do encourage contributions when you find a gap!
