git clone arguments

I would like to be able to specify arguments for the clone command.
Specifically, "--depth 1 --branch (branch_name)"

You can set the depth of the clone using FetchOptions#depth

When I use FetchOptions#depth and git clone --depth 1 url the results i get are completely different, the one cloned using git2 (or libgit2 ig) has more branches and commits cloned than git and is larger in size
