Network error when attempting to fetch resource

When I try to launch it it says "Network error when attempting to fetch resource", and doesn't make any sound when I try to play it. It was working fine earlier. I'm using Firefox version 143.0.4 on Windows 11

We couldn't figure out what's causing the problem yet, but the clues seem to suggest maybe something somewhere is blocking the default soundfonts and the fonts from loading when the Signal page tries to get them, but directly visiting addresses for the soundfonts and fonts works.

• When aer0aa looked in the Developer Tools Console, there were error messages saying the soundfonts and fonts failed to load that included Cross-Origin Request Blocked and Status code: (null).

• When aer0aa looked in the Developer Tools Network page and looked in the requests for the soundfonts and fonts, there were no Response Headers at all, and it said Transferred: 0 GB so it seems like maybe something might be blocking everything including the response headers for those items (?)

• When aer0aa visited the following addresses for the soundfonts and fonts in a new browser window or tab, there were no errors.

• When aer0aa visited the following addresses, which include the parent folders for the soundfonts or fonts, the lock icon appeared, suggesting the browser had no problems with the security certificates for those sites (?)

• aer0aa is using Ublock Origin, but says turning it off didn't fix it

I tried disabling all my extensions but it didn't work
