Dropdown problem

after selecting an option from dropdown, i have to click outside of the dropdown items/options for hide that list.
dropdown items should close after user select an item.

Not necessarily. It depends on what you put in a dropdown.
As an example, take a look at the theme picker dropdown on top right corner of daisyUI site. If it gets closed after trying each theme, it would be annoying.

ok, then need a special class / props type of thing for set - either should close or not.
