Custom Search Dropdown Causing Scrollbar Issue in Daisy Modal

Hello,
I’d like to use a custom search dropdown list on the DaisyUI modal, positioned absolutely so that it appears above the modal rather than inside it.

However, when I tried implementing it, the modal displayed an unintended and visually unappealing scrollbar.

Could you please advise if there’s a proper way or recommended solution to achieve this behavior without affecting the modal’s layout or scrollbar?

I moved the dropdown out of modal-box and they are linked using popover API and anchor positioning.
