Actually, ARexx is partially implemented/replaced but it still misses a core part, the actual (full) script interpreter.

So it indeed needs the original 68K rexxsyslib.library in sys:libs to run complex scripts - not just simple oneliners - and the partially implemented version in mossys:libs needs to be renamed to e.g. rexxsyslib.library_disabled.

Once it is replaced, it should transparently work like the original ARexx implementation.

Good to know. Are you able to verify that installing the 68k ARexx on MorphOS gets the example scripts in the new AmigaGPT ARexx menu to work? joke.rexx is a good example to try. it should tell you a random joke in a pop-up

OK, so I finally bought some credits for my API key ...

First of all, the scripts don't launch (from menu) if they don't have the "s" script protection bit set (which they haven't after being installed).

I tried the say_os_version.rexx script but after getting a shell window with "T:AmigaGPTInput deleted", AmigaGPT seems to hang. Maybe SPEAKTEXT doesn't work on MorphOS ?
(edit) It works when I launch it in a seperate shell via "rx say_os_version_rexx" (while AmigaGPT is running) but hangs when called from menu inside AmigaGPT

It is pretty much the same for joke.rexx. Hangs when called from within menu (also blocking AmigaGPT), works when called in a seperate shell via rx.

I'm not exactly sure why that is any difference to the menu call, though:
