Could You provide an example how to run with relay.mesos on a mesos cluster (we also using Marathon, Chronos, Docker)?

I've found stolos few months ago while I was searching for a workflow manager on mesos supporting bash, python and pyspark jobs. I'm awere of the alternatives (Airflow, Lugi, Azkaban, etc.), but I really-really like the PID controller (I'm an electrical engineer) and decentralized queue consuming approach.

If You could give us a guidance to try, we'd gladly contribute to both projects.

  • Do I need to run a separate relay.mesos framework for every stolos apps?
  • How can I define different resource requirements per stolos app? Different queues and relay.mesos frameworks per resource definitions?

Does a per task resource parameter passed to the mesos scheduler solve my question?
