Infinite redirects in gitlab-registry nginx config

If both the gitlab-registry.conf file and the gitlab.conf file exist, I get an "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" error.
If I delete the gitlab-registry.conf file, the problem is resolved.

Gitlab version: sameersbn/gitlab:18.3.1
