Sandboxie-Plus v1.15.8 / Classic v5.70.8 introduces several improvements and fixes to enhance usability and stability. The sandbox deletion confirmation prompt has been refined for better clarity. The online updater has been updated to ensure smoother updates, and the Plus installer now includes the ImDisk 3.0 driver for 64-bit systems, expanding its functionality.

This release also addresses key issues reported by users. A problem where the "WriteFilePath" setting was not functioning correctly has been resolved, ensuring expected behavior when writing files. Additionally, an issue with Box Notes that caused matching lines to be deleted upon saving has been fixed, restoring proper note-taking functionality.

If you have issues with an update installation, just uninstall the previous version keeping the sandboxie.ini and reinstall the new build.

What is the origin of the packaged ImDisk v3.0 driver? I haven't seen any (released) developments since 2021 (2.1.1) and there are some changes for a potential 2.1.2 here. Where's the source and who did the development? And how does it expand its functionality?

Thanks! The link to the source is missing from the package, though, so I'd recommend to put it in the readme.txt inside imdisk_files.cab and in https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/blob/master/README.md.

I have other questions about the new addition of ImDisk v3.0. If a previous version was already added in 2023 (also in changelog) then:

1. Why wasn't the following question also asked back then?
2. If one answers No, will it keep the previous version or just don't have it at all?
3. If one answers No, how and is it possible to later still get it?

1. the component was previously only available over the addon manager int he settings and not installed by default
2. if you choose no nothing will be changed
3. if oyu choose no you can still install it over the addon manager
