I remember that it was possible to run this kind of command:

vd https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_cities

But now I have

vd https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_cities
saul.pw/VisiData v3.2dev

If I run curl -kL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_cities | vd -f html, it works.

Is it no longer possible to link directly to the URL?

Yes it was fixed by #2880, which will be part of the eventual v3.4 release.

By the way, your quoted output shows "v3.2dev". I strongly recommend not to run v3.2 any more. It had a very serious display bug. v3.3 fixes many bugs. It is also a bit faster displaying JSON files that contain large dictionaries or lists, and it improves the command palette UI by making it scrollable with PgUp/PgDn.
