FFMPEG UDP stream input

Hi, I'm using input.ffmpeg as a source, receiving a UDP stream. Is there a way I can detect silence on this stream and refresh it until the audio comes back?

Every now and again, the stream will go down, and its not recovering itself.

I have a quick question. Are there any requirements for using input.ffmpeg to receive a UDP stream instead of input.rtmp or input.srt?

I would have to double check compatibility. I think input.rtmp would be possible.

input.rtmp is using input.ffmepg under the hood..

Hi @toots, If my UDP stream goes down, it doesn't appear to be attempting to re-connect, instead Liquidsoap will just output silence.
On silence I would like it to attempt to re-connect to the source until its restored - is that possible?
This script will be run on start-up and I'm hoping I can make it resilient enough it can be left unattended.
