Does Metals support including a dependency directly from a git repo?

Something like:

lazy val PlayJsonForm = RootProject(
  uri("https://github.com/tanin47/play-json-form.git#1baa9279fe3803b6f1a8339c0bb7e2071df5e950")
)

dependsOn(PlayJsonForm)

When using this, it seems the type recognition and autocompletion on VSCode don't work anymore.

I want to check if we miss a setting that can make it work or Metals doesn't support this. Thank you.

It should work though, auto imports might not if sources are not available to index. If you have a bigger example I can take a look at it
