Deploy an (internal) infrastructure to perform tasks such as the following on a regular (e.g., nightly) basis:

  • Checkout the latest production and development CHOS branch(es) from github. (If they have changed.)
  • Pull the latest supported kernels (e.g., SL5 and SL6 kernel RPMs). (If they have changed.)
  • Build each selected CHOS branch against each supported kernel tree.
  • Run a test suite to determine if CHOS functions as expected. Perhaps we could use User-mode-Linux or virtualization to boot the kernels and attempt some CHOS operations.
  • Provide an e-mail summary to developers. We could also put them on the Web to show the status of various branches.
