Thank you for this interesting library !

One of the needs regarding the UUIDs is the ability to sort them.

So far, there is no way of doing this because the generated UUIDs are not UUIDV7 compliant.

What is the guarantee of unicity of a long series of GUIDs generated ? (meaning could there be duplicates or not ?)

Could there be a collision every Nth generations ?

How many unique items can be generated in a second or less ?

Is the generator guaranteed to be thread-safe ?

It would be interesting to find answers to these questions in the near future ...

Guid entropy is 128 bits (generated via crypto/rand). That's stronger than uuid entropy, which is 122 bits (ie. 64 times stronger).

Is the generator guaranteed to be thread-safe ?

Yes, 100%.

How many unique items can be generated in a second or less ?

See the benchmarks in the README. In multi-goroutine generation I'm able to generate 1 Guid in ~6ns. That's ~100-140 million per second.
