I am having a similar issue, running Zabbix 7

Fixed my error above by linking to Python using "sudo ln -s /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/python". Now getting the Zabbix_Sender error listed by @morkvk .

I had the same issues. After linking to Python 3, check your zabbix_agentd.log.

Also verify the Hostname= value in your zabbix_agentd.conf. The setting is case sensitive and should match the hostname configured in the Zabbix web interface. Don't forget to restart the agent after making any changes.
