JellySeerr marking TV Shows as deleted

Hi all,

JS 2.7.3 installed in a Docker Container.

Many TV Shows are showing Deleted and Partially Available like the one below:

I then go to Manage Series and select Mark all Seasons as Available. This gets rid of the Deleted and Partially Available messages. The next day the messages are back.

Can someone please explain what's happening as all episodes have been downloaded for all seasons?

We have a support channel separately because its very difficult to troubleshoot on a non-realtime platform such as github and its very hard to track actual real issues when its mixed with thousands thousands of support tickets.

Try handling thousands and thousands of support tickets where you require real-time feedback and check backs to troubleshoot and change and help someone; some people with less technical expertise where you have to hand hold them to fix their issue on a platform that is not at all designed for such a usecase, and that's how you burn out every single maintainer. Our support channel exists for the sole purpose that its a platform that can handle exactly that.

The other alternative is we use a forum. However, with our current small team, this is not feasible. Everyone is a volunteer working on their free time to provide you a free software with free technical support out of their otherwise busy lives. Our team is still pretty small compared to other projects where they have core teams, dedicated mods. For example, jellyfin project is able to run a forum to provide support because they have a big team, but they also still use discord/matrix as a primary support providing channel as well. Even the Servarr project uses discord as well for support. Several different projects use discord to provide support. It's not just us. In addition, our discord server is a public server, and even if it is a different platform, it is actually designed for real-time chat. Whether you choose to join or not, is not our problem.

Github is not a platform for providing support and what not. Its a platform for source code maintenance and version control. Providing support is not what its made for. Its very reasonable that we direct them to a separate support channel that is far more suitable. Like i saud earlier, we are not the only project that does that.

Furthermore, it is not that difficult to fork off and start if the original team drops off. Just look at the source code and the real issues and prs. If no active development just start your own, as long as you follow the original license.

Also having this issue, too bad there isn't information that's public and indexed to read about it.

My issue was caused by two of the scheduled tasks being run when the PMS was not availalbe. In my case I was doing a backup of Plex and stopped it while the backup was being completed. The fix was to change the scheduled task times so the PMS was available when the tasks run.
