[BUG] subtitle won't display - narrowed down

So as in thread I've narowed down the bug where subtitles won't display when playing my upscaled videos..

as before the issue only happens when using built-in HRP the sfall one, when using Mash's HRP everything is ok..

what i narrowed down to is only the pre-actual game cinematics don't display subtitles. so for example in case of Fo2:

Ron perlman credits video won't display subs when actually played in it's place a.k.a before hitting main menu, elder speech plays subtitles fine, and if credits video ( the Ron Perlman credits video not the actual credits rolling upwards) gets set instead of some post start game videos it will play subtitles as well even on the built in HRP..

TL : DR

only videos before reaching main menu that have subtitles don't play them when using Upscaled vids and sfall's built in HRP

currently affected set of videos Fo2 Credits FoEtTu Intro ( fo1 has merged intro and credits videos into one, credits sepose to start rolling mid video but they don't if using upscale and built in HRP ( mash's HRP is unaffected) Resurection Credits video, Sonora credits video Nevada would too if the upscale for it existed, yet because poor voice acting in that video i couldn't be arsed to make an upscale for it, ah yes, and the unofficial Russian intro for Last Hope hasthe same problem the upscale only shows subs when ran from Mash's HRP or otherwise tweaked to run from the game itself ( post main menu, anything pre-main menu does not display subs for upscaled vids when ran from sfall's built-in HRP [assuming the video has any subs at all])..

I tried your upscaled FO2 intro/credits/elder.avi (720p) and had no subtitle at all when I played the game in 1280x720 resolution, no matter with Mash's HRP or sfall's built-in. But if I use 1280x960 resolution, I can see their subtitles.

And if I remove the top/bottom black bars in your avi (i.e. crop them into 1280x640 as the same aspect ratio as source MVEs), the subs show up just fine in 1280x720 resolution when playing intros. So my suggestion is you should follow the aspect ratio of source MVEs for upscaling videos instead of adding black bars just for the sake of 16:9 image.
