Calling slang::createGlobalSession() takes a really long time. In my Debug build, particularly with thread sanitizer on it takes 3500ms. Without address sanitizer on or in Release mode it takes about 300ms. That's still quite a long time. What is it doing? Is it really necessary? Because that's a long time to wait (3500ms) when restarting, as I do often.
