Toggle between hex and base64 format in logs

Is/would it be posible for the logger to convert any hex output to base64 automatically?

If you would prefer to see binary data in base64 instead of hex, we could perhaps add an option for that to the UI. Would that work? Or do you use the JS console for logging instead?
