Is there a way to view rms values of voltages and currents instead of rapidly changing instantaneous values?

Yes! You can add RMS measurement to oscilloscopes under the Show Info tab (fig. 1). If you prefer to see RMS values displayed within the circuit diagram, you can add a test point or a Voltmeter from Draw > Outputs and Labels. Then you can edit it so it displays RMS values instead of instantaneous voltages (fig. 2)
