Worker node on bare metal (wasn't installed)

I would like to create a Talos cluster using two physical machine.

• I've created a PXE server and booted Talos from it.
• I've followed the getting started doc, generated the controlplane.yaml, talosconfig, worker.yaml.
• I've managed to install the control plane (by applying controlplane config)

But after I've applied the worker node config, Talos haven't been installed on worker node machine and every new start It boots from PXE server. When I try to boot from local disk, it says there is no OS on it.

What I'm missing, that I cannot install Talos for the Worker node machine?

I'm not sure that it is not installed, because the cluster exists, but the worker node machine doesn't start from hdd.

Try checking whether the install disk you specified is correct and, assuming you managed to install Talos to disk, that the boot order is properly set. I don't think PXE would have priority over a disk, but it doesn't hurt to double check

We can't guess what the issue is, but usually the answer is to capture serial console logs.

If your issue is related to boot problems, running Talos logs won't help I guess.

Serial console is what usually is available with bare-metal, you need to make sure you have console=ttyS0 in the kernel command line.

My machines are not real servers, but desktop computers. I cannot manage get logs from them (other having no idea how can I do this). But the two machines are the same the controlplane boot from HDD the worker node not, can I search some difference on hdd of the two machines?

I can't really guess that. Please make sure you're using latest Talos.

One option is to record a video of the monitor and upload it here - we can try to guess from the logs - from the moment of PXE boot up to "wrong reboot".

I've solved the issue. The installation was successful, but the partition structure was strange, so it could not boot from the HDD. I wiped the HDD, then reapplied the worker.yaml config and it works.
I attach a picture of the partitions.
