update only for Sifteo Cubes 2.0?

Hey I got the 2.0 cubes back in 2013. My 2 year old loves them! I'm wondering if there's any chance there's an updated firmware that might help with some of the bugs, signal dropping, etc? And if so, a straightforward way to get it onto my base station?

This is a longer term project - rewriting firmware takes a lot of knowledge to not break things - but there are a couple of people working on this. I'll see what I can find out about progress, but can you make a little clearer what the bugs are that you are seeing?
