Bug description

I've been trying to change my Signal account to my new phone number for hours, but I keep getting “Error connecting to service” after typing the right SMS verification code. I've tried using WiFi and cellular connection, VPN, changing my DNS, rebooting the phone, wiping the app data... I am getting out of ideas here.

Linking device with my Arch Linux is also not working after scanning the QR code. Idk if that could be related to this issue.
