history can't be deleted with "history -c" command in NanoKVM terminal window

I tried to delete the commands history in the NanoKVM terminal window but to no avail.
The only way was to delete the .ash_history file, but still till NanoKVM terminal window was closed and reopened, pressing the up arrow key would provide the cached commands.

Do you mean there is some configuration changed can be done by the user? Could you please hint where this could be done .

To work around it:

1. Clear the persistent history file (affects future sessions):
   rm ~/.ash_history
   (New terminal sessions won't load old commands.)

2. Clear the current in-memory cache (what you see with up-arrow):
   There's no built-in history -c in BusyBox ash like in Bash. The easiest way is to simply close the terminal window/tab and open a new one, this starts a fresh shell session with empty in-memory history.

3. Prevent history from saving in the current session:
   Run unset HISTFILE
   (Any new commands you type won't be appended to ~/.ash_history when you exit.)

4. Make it permanent for your sessions (no history saved ever):
   Create/edit ~/.profile (it runs on login shells)
