When Liquid is in a router, speeding up the game does not speed up the liquid throughput to be it's equivalent at that speed. At 2x speed there is no major difference in smaller scaled builds that involve routers but large scale builds cannot operate at these higher speeds.

If you look to the left of the player in the attached video you will see the routers failing to keep up with the increased game speed.
