Project abandoned?

i've been following socket and union for a while and even built a few prototypes.
the readme now simply reads that the project is deprecated.
could you provide any more information?
it breaks my heart a bit to see such a promising project go fizzle out like this..

+1 to ahane's question. I am surprised too to see this project deprecated. Not sure if this is due to the trademark violation issue opened. It would be much appreciated if someone in the SocketSupply team could throw some light on this.
Does this signal a re-design based on addressing issues learnt from existing Socket Supply applications in the wild?
IMO latica/SRP protocol should still be a viable mechanism unless heapwolf and his team are re-designing some core functionality.

last I heard was that @jwerle is working on a rebrand. It was supposed to be made public like a week ago but then I stopped getting updates. If anybody is in contact with him or somebody else working on this please let me know.
