I want to add a title tag to my SVG, but it isn't available and react native doesn't like <title> tags. What is the proper way of adding accessibility to an SVG this way?

If you add <title>My SVG file title</title> to your react-native-svg JSX/TSX file, the iOS app will crash with this error:

Error: Text strings must be rendered within a <Text> component.

Adding support for the <title> tag could be a big win for accessibility. I was hoping to use it as described in the following article which proposes a way to mark up SVG documents to be interpreted as tabular data by screen readers:
