Change of Payment Method does not correctly update the subscription

A change of payment method in the admin interface does not update the subscription correctly.

subscription current version

To Reproduce
Add a subscription
change the payment method

Current behavior
Subscription payment method is not changed

Expected behavior
payment method change events are fired
