4.0.1 Forced Practice Mode

Hello, so to start, sorry if this isn't the right place for this, i was planning on putting my request on reddit, then saw it was moved to discord but i don't trust discord for recent, obvious reasons.

So to give some more details, I've played on 3.11.4 or whatever the version close to that was for quite some time, never had a single issue, as of tonight 10/17/25 i updated to 4.0.1. To do this i simply uninstalled my entire spt folder, downloaded the installer and let it do all the work, I went ahead and downloaded the mods i wanted for 4.0.1, got all that ready and installed, and launched the game, it all worked great, got everything setup, hopped into ground zero, finished the raid, then realized nothing saved out. That's when i realized i was stuck in practice mode.

I started troubleshooting by removing any and all mods/server modifiers, I uninstalled spt, deleted all profiles etc. I completely wiped it for the 3rd or 4th time, verified my EFT files, launched up normal tarkov, hopped into a raid and it all worked fine, i will say my pc has been weird after one of the last updates with me constantly having to give admin privilege to do stuff such as move certain files, or get programs to work right, had this issue with EFT where i had to run it as an admin manually to get it to let me login correctly. Regardless it still worked fine, so i closed out, reinstalled SPT to my D: drive this time instead of my C: I also went in to the properties of each .exe within spt and gave them all privilege to use admin without my input, unfortunately i found the same result, in that i was stuck in practice mode, un-modded, just normal single player tarkov, i tried dev profiles, different editions of the game and all.

All the games .json .cnfg and ingame settings looks normal, not getting any errors in the any logs i've seen or on the server itself, in game i'm not sure if its normal but there's a red skull beside interchange, that might just be the new update, but when picking my pmc i dont have the option to go straight to ready, i have to hit next, next, etc. till i can ready up, i cant edit any game options, i can choose random weather and amount/difficulty of bots but that's all. i CAN insure my items though, so that's good..... On the main menu in the corner it does still say SPT 4.0.1 - 1eacf0 | PvE So as far as I'm aware i am correctly on the spt server, and didn't somehow bug out and mix in with normal eft, this is all the same with my scav as well, i can use it, but only for practices. I can add whatever information i need to, just let me know, ill be monitoring this quite regularly as I'm really looking forward to playing the new update, thanks :)

EDIT : Okay, so its tomorrow, last night i continued to test everything i could, all the way as far as trying to re code the cs sharp zip to force my own game mode, none of that worked, ended up doing another clean install and calling it a night, just woke up, hopped on, still stuck in practice mode, but now I'm able to extract with any FIR items??? To clarify, nothing should be different, I did not save any major changed nor did i change anything else aside from what was listed above, it just appears to have started saving, though game still says its all practice mode, for now, I wont complain, I'd still like to get to the bottom of this.
