SPT Realism Mod v1.5.0 for SPT 3.10.5

Fixes:

  • Fixed trader-related errors caused by mod items not being set up correctly.
  • Geiger + Analyser volume are now affected by headset gain.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Complete recoil rework: recoil has been completely refactored to address persistent bugs such as recoil suddenly driving upwards or downwards due to stutter or apps that take focus from EFT. It will feel different to some extent, as there is no vertical reset anymore.
  • Dynamic map loot modifier: the more you loot on a map, the less loot there will be on subsequent runs. You have to play on a different map for the loot to "regenerate". Still needs to be balanced subject to feedback.
  • Loot randomization: loot on bots and map loot has a chance to have the uses/resource/hp randomized. Does not apply to items inside containers yet.
  • Added new visual effects for radiation, adrenaline and drug overdose. Radiation visual can be disabled.
  • Weapon Collisions: config options to either tweak or override BSG's weapon collisions handling completely. Makes weapon length more meaningful and factors in ergo.
  • Adapted mounting behaviour to take bipods into account properly. There is the option to enable Realism's mounting or use BSG's. Note that Realism's stances and stamina changes won't work correctly with BSG's mounting.
  • Deafening mechanic had to be completely reworked due to BSG's changes to headsets and audio. It's not as in-depth as before but should be more consistent.
  • Added config option to adjust aim punch. Reduced aim punch.
  • Reload speed is now factored by player weight minus weapon, as factored by comfort stat.
  • Improved ADSing with canted sight from stances.
  • Many changes to weapon/attachment/ammo/armor stats.
  • Added more logging options for debug and dev.
  • Improved durability of bot weapons slightly.
  • Added setting to give zombies HP more in line with Realism's balance.
  • Increased the size of the heart hitbox, and increased damage dealt to it and the spine.
  • Optimized bot generation.
  • Completely overhauled how user templates are handled, old templates are no longer compatible but DevilFlippy and others have already made templates for most mods.

Known Issues:

  • There's a stutter on shooting bots sometimes and general performance issues, it's not this mod but this specific EFT build.
  • Can't treat radiation or toxicity out-of-raid except for Therapist quests at this time due to limitations.
  • Balancing is always on-going.
  • Glock 18C recoil is bugged, BSG issue.
  • High ready sprint animation bugs out sometimes, BSG issue.
  • Can hit self with melee in the legs.
  • SPT/EFT is cursed.

  • More aspects of the bot spawn-related changed will be disabled if Questing Bots is installed to reduce user error.
  • Fixed trader-related errors caused by mod items not being set up correctly.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Added more logging options for debug and dev
  • Reload speed is now factored by player weight minus weapon, as factored by comfort stat.
  • Minor stat tweaks/balance.

Known Issues:

  • There's a stutter on shooting bots sometimes and general performance issues, it's not this mod but this specific EFT build.

Fixes:

  • Fixed 7mm buckshot stats.
  • Fixed Fence stock regenerating on purchase.
  • Ambient audio changes are now optional and disabled by default.
  • Shots near the players should trigger headset gain cutoff more consistently.
  • Fixed error on drug overdose.
  • Potential fix for weapon not being dropped when it should.
  • Bipod use now blocks stances, and various improvements to bipod use.
  • Geiger + Analyser volume are now affected by headset gain.
  • Fixed gun melee hits not registering.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Added new visual effects for radiation, adrenaline and drug overdose. Radiation visual can be disabled.
  • Re-Enabled weapon collision changes. Can choose to either tweak BSG's collisions, override it with my own (WIP) or just use BSG's default.
  • Re-enabled Spawn Wave changes. All bots will spawn at the start of the raid, once they're dead they're dead. Overall performance should be improved by doing this.
  • Optimized bot generation.
  • Various weapon and attachment tweaks.
  • Added config option to adjust aim punch. Reduced aim punch.

  • Attempt to optimize ballistics.

Fixes:

  • Fixed a number of issues and errors with bot generation.
  • Fixed issues with ambient audio, added separate config options for outdoor and indoor ambient.
  • Fixed bots not using the correct health pool.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Re-enabled Insurance changes
  • Re-Enabled boss spawn chance changes. Some aspects of regular bot spawn changes were re-enabled, but due to the changes to how spawns are handled, spawn wave changes were not.

This build is focused on bot loadout and loot changes. Please test on as many maps as possible at different player levels to try and get a good mix of bot tiers. Please report any errors, stating what player level, which map and time of day. Please test to see if bots are getting NVGs at night, bots have gasmasks on labs, are using long guns on outdoor maps and SMGs on CQV maps etc.

Fixes:

  • More fixes and improvements for user presets.
  • Fixed issues with ambient audio, added separate config options for outdoor and indoor ambient.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Enabled bot loadout and loot changes, and added new weapons and gear to them. This needs extensive testing, there most likely will be errors that need to be tracked and reported.
  • Added stats for AA-12 and all new attachments and gear.
  • Expanded options for ammo user templates.
  • Adapted mounting behaviour to take bipods into account properly. There is the option to enable Realism's mounting or use BSG's. Note that Realism's stances and stamina changes won't work correctly with BSG's mounting.

SPT Realism Mod v1.5.0 for SPT 3.10.x - Test Build 1

Very early test build just to find errors and bugs. It is recommended to enable the BepInEx logger in the BepInEx.cfg file so you can track any errors more easily. When reporting errors and bugs, state the steps to reproduce and make sure it isn't another mod conflicting.

Insurance and all bot-related changes have been temporarily disabled, the focus is on client-sided features (recoil, hazards, med system, stances, etc.). There may be bugs that will not throw any errors, so features also needed to be tested to confirm they behave as expected.

I made some changes to the recoil code in the hopes that it might fix the random bug that's been widely reported. If you've had those issues please test it and let me know if it works. I understand it's hard to prove that the bug no longer occurs since it's hard to reproduce, so please give it a good amount of play time before sound off on it "working". There is a config setting to disable FPS being factored into recoil calculations, if you exerpience the bug please try with this setting disabled.

Fixes:

  • Potential fix for weapon recoil randomly pushing downwards. Hybrid recoil was removed in the process of cleaning up the code.
  • Device and gasmask SFX are no longer affected by headset gain.

Tweaks & Changes:

  • Added a config option to disable FPS being factored into recoil amount.
  • Added a config option to modify the amount of armor durability lost when shot.
  • WIP changes to weapon collision. For now just slowed down weapon collision. More to follow.
