Feature request: how to verify amount of CAT "in circulation"

I would like to know the amount of a particular CAT in circulation. Currently, there isn't a good solution for this except self-reporting from CAT owners.

Possible solution: CAT owner publishes their "custody" wallet address along with the CAT information so users can look up the wallet id and verify the amount that is out of circulation. Another nice feature would be a notification or alert if coin moves into or out of this custody wallet. The alert could post to twitter or users could even customize alerts received based on CAT. This is similar to the twitter @whale_alert account.
