This is related to this issue:
sparkfun/SparkFun_DataLogger#30

The ideas to to take input from a UART and read the values during the log cycle and add the results to a field in the output stream.

This should be an action/operation in the framework - provide/set the UART settings and add the output fields to the logger object.
