I'm using Electrum 4.5.8 on Apple Silicon (macOS Sequoia 15.1) and there are no "Addresses" and "Coins" tabs, I can't find them in Preferences or other settings too. The only tabs I have are "History", "Send", "Receive" and "Channels". I never encountered such issue on Linux & Windows. Is it by design or something is wrong with my setup?

There is a 'view' menu where you can select which tabs are visible.
Since in MacOS the app menu is disconnected from the app window, it is not easy to find.

Reopening this: I think we should try to address this issue properly. Other people have had the same problem.
Maybe we should remove the 'view' menu altogether, and always display all the tabs.

The menu bar includes other menus besides View, such as Wallet and Tools. I don't think we should move everything away from there just because of how the macOS DE works. In general, I think this is a quirk of macOS that its users should get accustomed to.

Maybe we should remove the 'view' menu altogether, and always display all the tabs.

What about Console/Notes/Conctacts, or simply Coins? Showing all those I think would be overwhelming for a first-time user.
If the problem we are trying to solve is users not finding the View menu, we could just redesign it. E.g. there could be a trailing "+" or "..." or "?" special tab icon among the tabs that opens a context menu:

Now I can't find an option to turn off "change addresses" feature. Electrum GUI on macOS is not really intuitive and lack of documentation makes it worse.

That's completely unrelated. Anyway, see:
