Would it be possible to keep what is released to docker hub in line with what is released on Github Releases. As they do not seem to be in sync, example docker hub has image like 9.0.3-a1 but thats not in GitHub. Then to follow-up can the releases in Github include release notes for what changed? This seems like it was happening but appeared to stop some time back.
The Kubernetes splunk-operator team does great with this sort of public transparency but they often say it is validated with x container version which what changes are in that container? Can I use a different container, I dont know because I dont know if changes line up from one to another.
Appreciate it! Also attempted to converse with the team via Splunk Slack but no responses :(
