Hi, I am Sanskriti Harmukh pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
I am getting my hands dirty with practicing Infrastructure as Code and building Backend skills side by side by creating some interesting projects.
Being a part of tech communities has taught me many things and one important aspect that I have gained is to help people around without expecting anything in return. I implemented it, and to be honest, it makes me happy when I can solve problems where folks are stuck. The smile on their faces and the appreciation messages lift me, and what's a better motivation than that. Rejections are a part of everyone's life but getting one from the place you least expected breaks you down. It's necessary to gather all the confidence again and work for the better. I am on that journey and can feel every bit of it.
I have attended, organized, and hosted many technical events with my team. Recently conducted my first session ever as a speaker too where I discussed DevOps and Continuous Integration and Deployment. Gave exposure to the audience throwing light upon the DevOps lifecycle with the help of a realistic example and hand-on pipelines. The only factor that disturbed me was that the session was held online, and I could not impact as much audience as I wanted. But I am proud of my contributions and will continue this practice with more effort each time.
Developer meetups are not something that I have seen in our city. Arranging one would need many measures to figure out, and I am ready to take that up. Letting my peers and juniors know what a Developer culture looks like and know which field they can opt for will act as a driving force for them to take steps in their technical careers instead of being in a dilemma on where to go and blindly the following anything. Choosing interests and prioritizing fields is one of the tough tasks, and I want to make this process a bit easier for others.
