Lookbook

My main focus is on building Lookbook, a UI development environment for Ruby on Rails applications. It's my attempt to help level-up the frontend development experience in Ruby-based projects - because why should JavaScript developers have all the shiny toys and tooling?

Background & other open source projects

I've been involved in the world of design systems and component libraries since they first became a thing and I love building developer tools outside of my day job as a senior frontend dev at @CoverageBook, a small Ruby on Rails-based software company In Brighton, UK.

Prior to Lookbook (way back in 2015!) whilst working at @clearleft I created and released Fractal - one of the OG component library development tools in this space.

I have also created and open sourced many other libraries, sites and tools for Ruby, JavaScript, SASS and PHP over the last 15 years, including:
