I've been a Debian developer since 2001, maintaining packages of man-db, groff, OpenSSH, Parted, debconf, and many others. I was a founding member of the core development team for Ubuntu in 2004, and worked on Launchpad from 2015 to 2023. Starting in 2024, I'm a freelancer, currently spending most of my time with the excellent folks at Freexian.

At the moment, most of my GitHub activity consists of upstream contributions to Python packages I fix in Debian; this is all over the place, but you can see it in my activity. It tends to involve fixing all sorts of strange test failures with newer Python versions or newer dependencies, modernizing packaging, and things like that.
