Become a sponsor to Sharon Rosner
I'm Sharon Rosner, an independent software developer living in Burgundy, France. I work mainly in the field of process automation for infrastructure facilities: water distribution, wastewater treatment, natural gas distribution and electric facilities.
I have more than 20 years of professional experience in software development. I work mostly on backend software applications, and on integration with various industrial equipment. I have built a distributed industrial web platform used in thousands of facilities all over the world.
I'm a veteran Ruby developer, with knowledge in C, C++, Go, Scheme, Lua and PHP. I am the author of many open-source Ruby gems, including Sequel, Papercraft, Extralite, UringMachine and Syntropy.
My goal in developing all these tools is to push the boundaries of what is possible to achieve with Ruby: solid, easy-to-use tools that provide not only developer happiness, but also machine happiness (i.e. solid performance).
Your sponsorship will support the continued development of these tools, providing integrations with other popular Ruby tools and frameworks, and improving documentation. If you're interested in my work and would like to contact me, you can write me at [email protected]. I also publish technical articles on my website: noteflakes.com.
