Become a sponsor to Thomas Wolf
Hi! Nice that you are looking at my profile! I'm a software engineer by profession, and in my spare time I work on open-source projects, time permitting. I'm a committer in the Eclipse EGit and Eclipse JGit projects, which provide Java-native git integration in the Eclipse IDE, and I'm a PMC member and committer in Apache MINA, where I'm active mostly in the Apache MINA sshd subproject. I'm also a committer in the Eclipse Platform project.
If you use these libraries, like my work, and want to express your appreciation a little more tangibly than just a "thank you" in an issue comment :-) feel free to sponsor me with an amount of your liking. (Don't get me wrong; "thank you"s are also very nice!)
In any case, whatever the amount, it does not increase my free time, and so it will not speed up resolving issues or implementing features. If that's your goal, contribute directly to the projects!
My main goal with this sponsorship program is to renew the hardware I use for for programming. My development computer a nearly 10 years old iMac that I'll need to replace in the forseeable future with an up-to-date model. It would be absolutely splendid if sponsorships could help me with this.
If that doesn't appeal to you, there are also other ways you could support the projects, in particular if you're representing a company. JGit, for instance, could probably use a Windows agent for its CI builds.
