Interactive Terminal returning cursor really slow.

After upgrading to spyder 6.1.2 I am experience a strong lag after the commands are executed.

I downgraded to 6.0.8 and it still persists. I have done a factory reset as well.

After entering a simple command to open or close the cursor returns in 3-5 seconds for the next command.

Also the time elasped check box doesnt work.
