Assets dialog / Add layer

Error :

Couldn't load layer /vsicurl/http://whatever/file.cog.tif,error HTTP response code on http://whatever/file.cog.tif: 401

File is behind web server BASIC AUTH.

Download works fine using that asset dialog, and using Add Raster Layer (http) of QGIS menu works fine also.

Added a config authentication (Basic Auth). Does not resolve error.

Maybe the STAC-API server not support vsi cache ?
