Problem

Auto Tag For some performers with multiple aliases (especially European performers, some will have dozens of aliases), only the main name will be used to set the Tag. If you need to use an alias for Auto Tag, you need to change the alias to the main name in multiple installments.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Perhaps an independent Auto Tag button could be added after each alias on the performer's page.
  2. When users click on Auto Tag on the page of a performer with multiple aliases, prompt the users to choose the name to use, for example, click on the alias they want to use.
  3. The same as the first one, but on the editing page.

Other Suggestions

Conduct a secondary confirmation when users deal with performers who have only one name, so as to avoid creating too many incorrect tags.

For scenes, maybe stashDB and Scrapers can automatically merge multiple performers with different aliases. But for galleries and images downloaded from multiple different studios, it's easy to miss a lot of tags due to different aliases

Another thing I've thought would be nice would be to just be able to mark an alias for use in Auto Tag. Obviously, not every alias is going to be good for auto tag. Some are just common single names that are going to get bad matches all over the place, but a lot of times aliases are still unique. Just being able to tell Stash which aliases are ok to use in Auto Tag would be great.
I have this issue with girls with multiple OF accounts. Every time I scrape OF, I have to go through every one of those OF girls, auto tag once, then swap their other OF account name in for their main name, then auto tag again. It's not a great workflow.
