Keyboard shortcut for "merge scene" #6231

It would be useful to have a keyboard shortcut to merge scenes. I would suggest m, I think it's currently unmapped. The workflow would be:
- select 2 or more scenes
- press
m
This would pop up the merge window, same as if you had gone to ... > Merge...
Describe the benefits this would bring to existing users
This would reduce the number of required clicks and improve efficiency for users who merge files frequently.
Is there an existing way to achieve this goal?
Yes, but it requires two mouse clicks.
