Release?

Wondering if it might make sense to do a release soon? I'm happy to help with any blocking issues. Currently the version on crates.io/docs.rs is pretty different than whats in main, and I've had quite a bit of luck vendoring in the current main of the project in several mixed-signal projects over the last year or so.

It seems to me that the current state of things is pretty stable and full featured

Sure I think a new release could make sense! I have been a bit busy with other things for a time but I will try to go through some of the open issues and PRs and see what can be finished before any release.

Also there are still things, such as the current DMA api, which are very much subject to change at some point in the future once something better has been figured out.
