Since upgrading from QT 5.9.5 to 5.9.6, QComicBook has been exhibiting a strange behaviour when opening files. I tried recompiling QComicBook since then but it didn't change anything.
When the application is started, there is an empty area where the thumbnail panel should be. In order to get rid of it, I have to enable the thumbnail panel, resize it by any amount, then disable it. At that point, the empty area disappears and the image reclaims the whole space.
Below are example screenshots in chronological order where QComicBook is launched for the first time, then the thumbnail panel is enabled, then resized, then disabled.
