[Discussion] Better define who/how many folks should take carpentries training - either non-certified or certified #5
Description
Two people have completed carpentries instructor certification training. Certification is not required to 'teach' workshops that are not already existing carpentries core lessons. The training, however, is a good foundation on how to teach and instruct well in the style of carpentries.
There are some key things to ascertain:
- Who (as in persona types) do we want/need as instructors
- What benefits are there for those that train?
- What are our (STRUDEL and the design curriculum broadly)'s expectations of those that train
- As the community may grow, what are the CoC or governance process (lite) we want to establish for safety.
