Error when running Signac's vignette Analyzing PBMC scATAC-seq

I followed exactly the code in Signac's vignette Analyzing PBMC scATAC-seq.
When running:
pbmc <- TSSEnrichment(object = pbmc, fast = FALSE)
I got this error:
Error in slot(object = object, name = layer) :
argument "slot" is missing, with no default

Seurat 5
Mac studio M2 Max
Rstudio Version 2023.12.0+369

Can anyone help me?

installed remotes::install_github("stuart-lab/signac", ref="develop")
and reopen the Rstudio solved the problem
