Wrong symbols when copying math from a pdf #5059

It happens often while, e.g., Firefox, Chrome, or Foxit have no such issue. One example: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2304.11605 (arXiv includes tex source.) Firefox: "Suppose {p𝑖 } 𝑁 𝑖=1 are samples from a continuous surface with normals {n𝑖 } 𝑁 𝑖=1. The generalized winding number 𝑤 at the query point q" Sumatra: "Suppose {p𝐴}𝐴 𝐴=1 are samples from a continuous surface with normals {n𝐴}𝐴 𝐴=1. The generalized winding number 𝐴 at the query point q" |

I see no difference between Acrobat in Edge and Current SumatraPDF so not an issue with 3.6 However not all sources are as good as writing Tex as binary values for extraction it is a very weak feature of PDF best done in a DocX that has equation handlers.
