multi-line alert?

Is it possible to create a multi-line alert? I have a status-menu app, and I would like it to respond to clicking on a menu item with an alert displaying multiple lines of info. something like "ALERT:Person|Name: Jeff\nAge: 63".

or do I need to use a web-view application to get more control over the output?

Multiline alerts are currently not supported, but I may consider adding support for it at some point. Leaving this issue open.

Ha! I could create a text-window or web-view app to display the multi-line output that I want, and have the status-menu app use the open command to launch the text-window app, right?
